There’s never been a more important time to think about giving back and supporting our global community than today. That’s why we are partnering with Gem Legacy to help lend a hand to artisanal gemstone miners in East Africa. From now until September 14th, we will donate 10% of all sales from our online shop* directly to Gem Legacy’s COVID-19 relief efforts for gem mining communities in East Africa.
About Gem Legacy
Gem Legacy is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting education, vocational training, and local economies in East African mining communities. Their founder, Roger Dery, has met thousands of people in East Africa’s remote villages and bush mines where gems have had a remarkable influence on their lives. They have found that gems bring hope, make a difference, and leave a lasting legacy.
Their COVID-19 relief efforts in particular are focused on providing food and basic necessities to people to who have been hit hard by the pandemic. Many of these families are at risk of malnutrition and starvation as government provided meals have been suspended.
They have already delivered thousands of meals and trained hundreds of miners in safe and efficient mining techniques. Gem Legacy is starting a movement to give back and uplift those at the source of colored gemstones. And, we at Arden Jewelers are so excited to be joining that movement today!
How You Can Help

Our entire online shop is eligible, so feel free to browse until you find your favorite. Each purchase leaves a lasting legacy that’s worth far more than gold or gemstones.
